Best African Violet Potting Soil Mix
African violets are one of the most favorite flowering houseplants. Despite its ease of growth, it requires constant attention to water, fertilizer, temperature, and soil. It is important that the soil is airy, loose and lightweight. Dense, packed and heavy soil hinders root penetration and, therefore, leads to low root growth.
African Violets are best grown in soil that contains a balance of moisture, nutrients, and air. A healthy African violet requires great soil that has a perfect level of acidity to thrive. For healthy roots, experts recommend well-drained, fertile and porous soil.
Using Plantyland’s expert guide, you can find the perfect soil for your African violets.
